Education

I was part of the Upward Bound program at the University of West Alabama while attending high school and was able to complete two college courses the summer after I graduated.  I completed my bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in physical education in May 2010. Immediately afterwards, I re-enrolled as a student at the University of West Alabama to complete my master's degree in Counseling/ Psychology and graduated May 2012. At some point in the near future, I will be working on my education specialist degree in the teacher leader program.

This is my third year teaching and I'm super EXCITED about spending the year at Marengo High School!

Bio

I was born and raised in Demopolis with two older brothers and a dog. Currently, I live in Gallion with my husband, two kids, and dog. I personally believe that individuals never stop learning, no matter where they are on the life span, and I love working with others and learning alongside them.
