I am  Pre-K teacher here at Marengo High School.  I have been working in early childhood education for the last 19 years. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education.  I was born and raised in Gallion, Alabama, but later moved to San Francisco, CA.  I returned to Alabama to become the caregiver of my mother who passed away some years ago.   I am a widow and I have 2 adult daughters.    My goal as a Pre-K teacher is to help children develop their social and emotional skills which will help them lay a stronger foundation to build on from now throughout their life.   As a Pre-K teacher, one of my main purpose is to help young mines be better prepared to enter  public school.
